CUTI-CUTI SELANGOR CONTEST

Cuti-cuti Selangor 2009 is a contest that gives participants an opportunity to win flight tickets for inbound and outbound destinations, accommodation stay in exclusive hotel rooms, and special dinner at the hotel restaurants with easy steps.

Participants just have to answers all the simple quizzes in the CD Rom and take pictures of some great tourism destinations in Selangor to enter this Cuti-cuti Selangor 2009 contest. Other than that, the objective is to give chances to participants to explore the uniqueness of the Selangor tourism sites and also learn about those places.

This contest is organized by Selangor Tourism Association (STA) collaborate with Tourism Channel Network Sdn. Bhd. Only Malaysian can join this tourism contest. The entry fee for this contest is only RM30 and you will get the Cuti-cuti Selangor 2009 CD Rom to win exclusive prizes.

Each CD comes with contestant code number. Each code number is eligible for one entry. You can send as many entries to have a better chance of winning great prizes.

The durations of this contest is 6 months begins from 16 July 2009 until 16 January 2010. Contestants stand a chance to win the monthly and main prizes.

There are two ways for the participants to get Cuti-Cuti Selangor 2009 CD Rom:

1. Cuti-Cuti Selangor 2009 Website www.cuticutiselangor.com
2. Participants can purchase Cuti-Cuti Selangor 2009 CD Rom at Selangor Food Festival 2009, from 16 –19 July at SACC Mall, Shah Alam.

Follow these 4 easy steps:

Step 1 : Pay an entry fee for RM30 and get a Cuti-Cuti Selangor 2009 CD Rom.

Step 2 : You are required to answer the simple quizzes.

Step 3 : Snap pictures of you at any tourism sites in Selangor.

Step 4 : Submit your answers and pictures via online.

Festival Sains Teknologi & Inovasi Negeri Selangor (FesSTiS '09)

Jawatankuasa Induk Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi Negeri Selangor (STANCO STI) telah komited untuk mencipta suatu budaya sains yang akan memberi lebih makna dan nilai kepada kehidupan seharian masyarakat, selari dengan pendekatan merakyatkan program oleh Kerajaan Negeri dalam semua aspek pembangunan atau program khasnya dalam melangkaui sains, teknologi dan inovasi.

Melalui FesSTiS '09, Kerajaan Negeri juga berhasrat untuk membuka peluang kerjasama pintar dengan semua pihak samada kerajaan atau swasta untuk sama-sama membina generasi masyarakat bestari, supaya mereka lebih ramai berpeluang menemui dan berkongsi pengalaman serta pengetahuan yang boleh diperolehi melalui sians dan teknologi.

OBJEKTIF:

1. Meningkatkan kesedaran, minat dan sokongan masyarakat di dalam bidang sains, teknologi dan inovasi serta menggalakkan pemikiran saintifik di kalangan mereka.

2. Mengurangkan jurang sosio-ekonomi dan jurang digital ICT di kalangan rakyat negeri Selangor melalui pelbagai program bertemakan sains, teknologi dan inovasi.

3. Merakyatkan sains, teknologi dan inovasi dengan memberikan peluang dan ruang bagi penghayatan STI tersebut untuk menghasilkan makna dan nilai dalam kehidupan harian mereka, selaras dengan dasar Merakyatkan Ekonomi Selangor (MES).

4. Menggalakkan kerjasama erat dan strategik di kalangan pelbagai pihak dalam bidang sains, teknologi dan inovasi demi manfaat masyarakat ke arah generasi bestari.
